It's great not just to be celebrating twenty years in business, but also having our achievements recognised with all these awards this year.

It's been another good year for CETA Insurance Ltd, the price comparison broker that covers a wide array of niche sectors, and that's been born out by a number of significant awards this year. Fresh on the heels of nominations and wins at regional business awards comes a national accolade, the E-broking Award at the UK Brokers Awards 2013, held in London recently.
The innovation recognised by the award was technology that allows the company to expand its product range quickly and easily, offering new insurance policies both direct to consumers and through channels like affiliates, white-labels and CETA's own broker network.
CETA has put years of online selling experience into developing "CETA Creator," a tool that allows the commonly to quickly put together the forms, databases and website front-ends required to launch a new product.
"This enhances our ability to cover new areas, which we could already do," explained managing director David Quick, "it's just that now we can do it faster. That's what's enabled us to put together deals to provide products and technology to market leaders like the Telegraph, Pickfords and Compare the Market."
The example examined in detail by the award jury was event insurance, which was first offered a year ago. Insure My Event is the website created to sell direct to the public, with helpful information about the risks surrounding events like weddings, fetes and festivals, and the cover available to offset those risks, as well as the opportunity to compare quotes from leading insurers, quickly and easily.
But it's not just about the website - the system caters for all the associated emails, newsletters documentation, text messaging and dedicated phone lines that are there to customers.
As the business was established in 1993, this is the twentieth anniversary year, with the company still in the same business park in Chipping Norton where it began. Starting with two people back then, the company now writes over 5,000 policies a month and provides employment for over 100 local people, many of them providing a completely UK-based customer care service.
"It's great not just to be celebrating twenty years in business," said Mr Quick, "but also having our achievements recognised with all these awards this year."
