LEAP CCO Participates As Judge in 2013 Mobile WebAwards

The Web Marketing Association handpicked judges to help set standards for award winning advertising throughout the web.

The Web Marketing Association’s call for entries for their second annual Mobile WebAwards is coming to a close, and LEAP CCO, Alan Gilleo, is excited to start the judging process.

“I accepted the invitation to serve as a judge for the Mobile Webawards over a month ago, so I am chomping at the bit to start the process,” Alan Gilleo, Chief Creative Officer at LEAP, said. “Serving on this judging panel is a big responsibility because it helps set a framework and expectation for the level of user experience and design we should strive for as advertising agencies.”

LEAP knows first hand about the importance of Creative and UX working together. The internal team that works under Alan strives to develop brand experiences across the multitude of mobile devices that people use when consuming data. Connecting consumers to brands in ways that add value to their lives and creates a long-term loyalty should be any agency and brand’s goal.

When judging in this year’s Mobile Webawards, Gilleo will bring his industry experience and expertise within the online advertising community to each entry he’s responsible for reviewing.

The criteria set forth by the association includes: creativity, impact, design, content, interactivity, ease of use, and use of the medium. These criteria are highly applicable as they are the same criteria Gilleo and his creative team tackle daily with their clients.

The judging will take place online in October of 2013. Entries will be accepted until midnight on Monday, September 2013.
