Archival safe paper is any paper that the natural acid in wood pulp is removed, as well as lignins and sulfurs present in the wood pulp. With the acids removed, the paper does not yellow, become brittle, or deteriorate like acidic paper and the paper has a life expectancy of hundreds of years. This material can be used to label folders, boxes, or anything else that needs to be archived, and without the fear of disintegration over time.
The 101700 is also a RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) compliant paper label. It has a clear acrylic adhesive that can be applied permanently to many different surfaces. It can be printed in both inkjet and laser printers as well as an offset presses. This material is also approved by the FDA for indirect food contact, which certifies it safe to be used for food packaging labels.
The 101200 is also WEEE compliant label material as well. It has excellent laser printability, and can be printed using Indigo, Nexpress, and iGen digital presses. It has a tight release so even small labels will not come loose inside the printers. This material has an acrylic adhesive that is adaptable to many different surfaces including corrugated board.
These two materials provide many different labeling options because of their versatility. They can be used for archive boxes, file folders, or for indirect food labeling. They can be ordered in blank sheets, from letter sized 8.5" x 11" sheets, legal 8.5” x 14” to large format sheets up to 13" x 19".
