The ACN Reviews Are in; Charlotte Event a Success for the Company and the Community

Charlotte, NC, hosted the company’s third quarter event, September 13-15, making this the second time this year the company has chosen the Queen City to host one of their events. The tens of thousands of ACN Independent Business Owners in attendance, having traveled from many of the company’s 23 countries, received three days of training, motivation and personal development, as well as a keynote from special guest speaker John C. Maxwell, a world-renowned best-selling author and personal development expert. But the impact of this event left an even greater impact on the city of Charlotte and surrounding areas.
With hotels and restaurants packed, city officials estimate ACN events bring millions into the local Charlotte economy in just three days time.
“The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority was pleased to welcome ACN’s Independent Business Owners to Charlotte once again,” says Visit Charlotte Executive Director Mike Butts. “We are extremely thrilled to have one of our local companies continue to showcase the city by bringing one of their marquee events to their hometown, ultimately supporting our economy and the many hospitality jobs in our community.”
And while impacting the local economy is certainly icing on the cake for this company, it’s the children and the clown that are the heart and soul of ACN.
During the Charlotte event, and at each of ACN’s events worldwide, the company collects donations for the local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House and then matches those donations dollar for dollar, presenting a check at the close of the event. On Sunday, September 15, just as the event was coming to a close, ACN presented a check to the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte in the amount of $104,026.06. But their contributions to the Charlotte house don't start – or end – there, as ACN is a regular supporter of the House, hosting an annual celebrity charity golf tournament and volunteering at the house regularly. In fact, ACN’s donations to the Charlotte house alone are climbing well into the millions.

ACN’s next large-scale event will be held in San Jose, California, December 6-8.
