The [Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA), an authoritative voice for the Telecommunications Management, Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Wireless Expense Management (WEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM) markets and Solutions Providers in related areas supplier community, announces a partnership with MobileCON 2013™, powered by CTIA. MobileCON will be October 16-18 in San Jose, California.

As part of the agreement, TEMIA will have its meeting on Tuesday, October 15 and Wednesday October 16 at the San Jose convention center prior to the start of MobileCON. The last 90 minutes of the meeting is open to the public with a Thought Leader panel discussion, which will examine the question “How Providers and Channel Partners Capitalize on BYOD?” MobileCON has also created a pavilion for TEMIA members to exhibit at the show. TEMIA exhibitors will be featured in the Telecommunications Management Pavilion and a second panel discussion on Thursday October 17.

Joe Basili, managing director for TEMIA said, “I am delighted to that TEMIA was able to partner with MobileCON. This is our first West Coast meeting in a number of years, and we expect a great turnout for our meeting with members staying for MobileCON and several exhibiting at the conference.”

“There is something magical that occurs at TEMIA meetings we see the depth of thought-leadership within the association, the diversity of solutions providers (large and small, comprehensive and niche) and gauge the overall health of our industry,” said James Price TEMIA executive board president, and president of ICOMM. “It is amazing to see competitors meet and work to establish best practices and industry standards. This meeting on the west coast is an important step on an important journey for TEMIA,” added Price.

"We’re pleased to partner with TEMIA to provide MobileCON attendees with this engaging and thought-provoking panel. Today's IT professionals have a variety of issues to deal with, ranging from cybersecurity to BYOD to cloud. Regardless of an organization’s size, these individuals are expected to protect networks, devices and data while upgrading infrastructure to meet employee demands and stay within budget or cut costs. MobileCON is the perfect show that convenes these experts to discuss their challenges and find answers with other IT professionals," said CTIA Vice President and Show Director Robert Mesirow.

“Managing a company’s devices is a tough job, and it gets even tougher when employees bring their own device onto the network. We are proud to partner with TEMIA and look forward to hearing from their experts on how providers and channel operators can best use BYOD on the thought leadership stage in MobileCON in San Jose,” said CTIA Vice President and Show Director Robert Mesirow.

TEMIA member companies are well positioned to address best practices, performance metrics, open industry standards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with member companies that are able to draw on experiences managing over $61 billion in telecom expenses on behalf of clients.
