Hotcourses Revolutionise How Universities Receive and Respond to International Enquiries and Applications
London (PRWEB UK) 30 September 2013 -- Education website publisher Hotcourses have developed a new tool which enables student enquiries and virtual applications to be integrated directly into university systems. This follows the successful launch of Hotcourses’ international application service, i-Apply, a year ago, which has since delivered over 6,000 applications to universities around the world.
Using the new API, which has launched today, universities can integrate these applications and other enquiries generated from Hotcourses’ twenty international and local language websites, directly into their own customer relationship management (CRM) systems. This development will both save university marketing staff significant time and improve university response to students. The tool, which is free for universities to use, will set a new benchmark in how universities receive and manage enquiries and applications from international students.
Universities can request particular feeds depending on department, type of enquiry and when they wish to receive these (to synchronise with their own application cycles). This new improvement will allow universities to track and process enquiries themselves even more closely, including all data attached to these. They can also respond in a more targeted way to students coming from different countries, generated by Hotcourses’ range of local country and regional websites.
This new tool emphasises the overall importance of enquiries from students abroad. The value of international students to a country’s economy has been widely reported especially in the current global economic climate. Meanwhile, students can expect a superior standard of assistance throughout the application process as a result of this new implementation.
‘Once again we are proud to be leading the way in international web marketing. A year ago we were the first company to add international apply to our websites, a service now used by many universities around the world processing thousands of applications,’ commented Mike Elms, CEO of Hotcourses. He added: ‘It is crucial that universities respond quickly and in a tailored way to student enquiries and applications, and our new tool will help them do just that.’
As part of a pilot project, a number of institutions in the US and the UK have already had feeds set up, including the University of Colorado Boulder, with the response being very positive. ‘Hotcourses’ new CRM service helps process inquiries more efficiently, and communicate with international students in a timely manner’ said Matt Roush from the Office of Admissions at University of Colorado Boulder. He continued, ‘Having this feature as one of their included services is valuable.’
Hotcourses is the leading publisher of education websites in the world, in Higher Education, International Education and Adult Learning. They have a network of local market sites throughout the globe, including 6Student in China and Uniguru in India.
