Bears Start off 2013 Campaign: 2013 Bears Tickets are Available Now at http://www.Bears-Tickets.org, Powered by InsideTrackTickets.com
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) August 19, 2013 -- The Chicago Bears started off their 2013 preseason campaign with one win and one loss, so far. The Bears played the Carolina Panthers on August 9th, and loss 24-17. The Bears came back in their next game, however, and beat the San Diego Chargers 33-28. Next up, the team will face the Oakland Raiders on August 23rd. In the Raiders first preseason game, they beat the Dallas Cowboys 19-17. In the Bears game against the Chargers, although they won, the offense was looking a little shaky. Starting quarterback Jay Cutler played one quarter of the game. He completed 4 of 5 passes for 38 yards and one touchdown. On the downside, Cutler only threw to one receiver, and the coaching staff is looking to spread the ball evenly. Cutler was also intercepted once in that first quarter and was sacked twice. Running back Matt Forte played a great game against the Chargers. He ran for 74 yards and had a touchdown in the win.
The Bears defense was solid last week in their second preseason game. They sacked Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers three times and even forced two turnovers. The defense did this without some of their star players, so it will be exciting to see what they can do with those that are injured back in the game. Some of the Bears' exciting upcoming games for the 2013 season include ones against the Cincinnati Bengals in their season opener, the New York Giants on October 10th, and the Baltimore Ravens on November 17th.
