NASHVILLE, Tenn. (PRWEB) October 11, 2013
Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that it is a Co-Sponsor of the “Merge Briefing: Technology M&A” Conference on October 15, 2013 at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center in Nashville.
The Merge Briefing is a 90-minute executive update from the industry leaders on current software M&A trends, themes and values – along with an overview of the Corum Group Tech M&A process: “8 Steps to an Optimal Outcome”. The program will give participants a “Tech M&A Overview”, discuss valuations and avoiding deal disasters, and conclude with a Q&A session with the panelists.
This introductory overview of merger market trends, processes and pitfalls, should help participants understand the basics of a successful M&A process and gain invaluable insights from the firm that has sold more privately held software and service firms than anyone in the world. The session leaders include a former company CEO/owner who sold two companies and an experienced international tech M&A attorney.
“We are pleased to partner with the Entrepreneurial Center and Corum in providing this valuable information to the local technology community and entrepreneurs,” said Kelly L. Frey, Sr., a partner in Dickinson Wright’s Nashville office who was selected as Attorney of the Year in Technology Law by Best Lawyers in America. “Technology companies need to be thinking about exit strategies and how best to maximize their valuations.”
