Crowdfunding expert, Head of Diversity and Inclusion for ABC’s TV show Shark Tank, and Kingonomics author Dr. Rodney Sampson is bringing more than one hundred experts in entrepreneurship and investing to our nation’s capital during the 50th anniversary celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic March on Washington to define a new shift in the movement from civil rights to economic rights and empowerment through crowdfunding and other investment initiatives. The emancipation of capital gala is the first of its kind gala designed to celebrate access to capital and crowdfunding. This formal affair will honor innovators, entrepreneurs and investors that have emancipated and transformed their respective industries and will also benefit the causes and initiatives that address poverty and the wealth gap for underserved communities. During the gala, the “I Have a Dream: A 50th Year Testament To The March That Changed America by Bob Adelman” photo journal will be unveiled for the first time along with a Graphic Novel called “March: Book One” by Congressman John Lewis, Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell. Honorees include David Weild (former Vice Chairman of NASDAQ), Vince Marold, Founder of Kaboom Sticks, Congressman John Lewis, Mark Burnett (Executive Producer of The Voice, Survivor, Shark Tank, The Bible Series), Coach George Raveling (NIKE’s International Director of Basketball), Eric Guichard (Founder of Homestrings.com) and Joey Womack (Founder of sf35 & Pipeline). The gala will also feature awards presentations, dinner and entertainment.

KINGONOMICS ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INVESTMENT CONFERENCE & SHARK TANK AUDITIONS – FRIDAY AUG. 23RD (10am-6pm) Kingonomics Conference

The Kingonomics Conference and Boot Camps will bring together over 100 experts in business and investment teaching thousands of entrepreneurs from across the United States and around the world to engage in an intense and interactive learning experience, where timely knowledge about access to capital, business growth and investments will come from leading entrepreneurs and active investors.
