Two Amada Caregivers Among Senior Care Hero Awards Finalists
Orange County, CA (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- The Senior Care Hero Awards' 3rd annual conference will be taking place this year on October 19th at the City National Grove of Anaheim, California. The Orange County organization, created to recognize and honor those who have played an integral part in providing the highest level of senior care to the Orange County community, has chosen two of Amada Senior Care’s caregivers as finalists for the Compassionate Caregiver category of home care.
The finalists, Stephen Njoroge and Epifania Martinez, were chosen due to outstanding reports received by individuals they have provided care for, by various individuals in senior care, and by the Council of Advisors and the Academy of Leaders with Senior Care Hero Awards organization. They are two of 130 people nominated across such categories as compassionate caregiver, outstanding physician, outstanding nurse, outstanding social worker, and outstanding administrator, among others.
“We are fortunate to honor a group of people who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the seniors they serve,” said event chair Roseann Gonzalez. “These senior care professionals give so much selflessly with love and compassion. They are all heroes.”
Amada Senior Care CEO Tafa Jefferson said Stephen and Epifania represent the heart of his organization, and epitomize the quality of care Amada has become known for. “They’re truly some of our best caregivers, and we couldn’t be more honored to see them recognized in this way. Our goal has always been to uphold this kind of reputation among the communities we serve, and it is something we will continue to do.”
According to SeniorServ CEO Holly Hagler, the nonprofit host of the event, the Senior Care Hero Awards have already made a name for itself among the Orange County senior care community. “This is the third year for the awards program and it has become the premier awards event in the senior care industry,” said Hagler. “We are thrilled by the excitement in the community about recognizing the unsung heroes of senior care while also benefiting seniors in need.”
