Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Attorneys Doug Benson and Dan Ujczo will present at the Canada-US Public-Private-Partnership (P3s) Conference that will be held October 2-3, 2013 at the Canadian Embassy and the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Ujczo will address Canada-U.S. relations during his opening comments at the Canadian Embassy on October 2nd while Mr. Benson will be featured on a panel with representatives of Deloitte and Infrastructure Ontario at the Wilson Center on October 3rd.
The conference, jointly organized by the Embassy of Canada in Washington, the Wilson Center’s Canada Institute, Global Public Affairs, Infrastructure Ontario, the National Council for Public Private Partnerships, and the Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships, will draw leading experts from around the globe to examine the role of P3s in infrastructure projects. Other speakers include U.S. Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA), chair of the House P3 Caucus; Hon. Christy Clark, Premier of British Columbia; the Ambassador of Canada to the U.S., Gary Doer; and representatives of states and provinces including Michigan, Ontario, Maryland, Virginia, as well as international financial institutions such as the World Bank.
