Toyota of Killeen, Walmart, Military Child Education Coalition, KCEN, KWKT, KWTX, and KXXV have partnered together to provide free turkeys to active military personnel and their families.

The event, “Turkeys for Troops,” was held on Friday, November 22, 2013 and Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Toyota of Killeen dealership. There were over 3,000 turkeys given away at “Turkeys for Troops” over the weekend.

"We are proud to support the military community and our local troops, especially during the holiday season," said Paula Lohse, Dealer Principle, Toyota of Killeen. "Our team members are honored to be able to play their part in this program that will directly benefit so many in the local military community."
