Four Standard Process Inc. Employees Receive Quality Control Certification Honors
Palmyra, Wis. (PRWEB) July 22, 2013 -- Four Standard Process Inc. quality control employees have passed an ASQ certification exam, qualifying them to become members of the ASQ global community of quality control professionals. Ross Gardner, Jessica Pociask, Tiffany Rusch and David Schroeder were recognized by ASQ for passing the Certified Quality Improvement Associate exam.
The Certified Quality Improvement Associate exam measures a professional’s knowledge in the topics of quality principles, team significance and improvement tools. As part of the Standard Process quality control team, Gardner and Schroeder, microbiologists, and Pociask and Rusch, chemists, work meticulously to ensure Standard Process whole food supplements meet label claims and are free of bacterial contamination. These measures help ensure the company’s health care professional customers are receiving high quality whole food supplements.
“I am very proud of these individuals” said Sandy Jankowski, Standard Process quality control manager. “To obtain ASQ-certification requires a vast degree of knowledge and by doing so, demonstrates their knowledge of quality principles.”
An ASQ candidate must first qualify for the Certified Quality Improvement Associate exam by having two years of work experience or an associate degree and provide proof of professionalism in one of three ways:
•Membership in a society that is part of the American Association of Engineering Societies or the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology,
•Registration as a professional engineer,
•Two signatures from members of a professional society verifying a candidate’s qualifications.
Gardner, Pociask, Rusch and Schroeder’s successful certification reflects the commitment Standard Process makes to have a high level of quality control throughout the entire product development process. The Standard Process quality control department administers extensive testing in all manufacturing processes to ensure safety and quality of each product.
“It strengthens the quality control department at Standard Process,” said Jankowski of the certification and the value it holds for the company.
