Lester Senior Housing Community to Host Complimentary CEU Seminar for Registered Nurses on Legal Aspects of Documentation in Long-Term Care Facilities on December 12
Whippany, NJ (PRWEB) November 18, 2013 -- Registered nurses from throughout northern New Jersey are invited to attend a free seminar on the legal aspects of documentation in various long-term care settings on Thursday, December 12, 2013. The seminar, titled “Risks in Health Care: How to Avoid Walking on Thin Ice” will be held at The Lester Senior Housing Community, 903-905 Route 10 East in Whippany, N.J. The presenter is Georgette Bieber, RN C, LNCC, an expert in clinical care coordination and compliance. She is currently the director of clinical services at Dellridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Paramus, N.J.
Registration and breakfast are at 8:30 a.m.; the seminar will run from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. The program will cover the dos and don’ts of documentation in New Jersey in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult day care centers, with a focus on long-term care patients. Upon completion of the seminar, attendees will earn 2.5 continuing education credits. She has consulted for law firms regarding nursing malpractice, personal injury, and negligence cases as well as corporate compliance and regulatory issues.
The Lester Senior Housing Community is a frequent host site for educational and informational seminars for professionals and the public.
