Simplifile President Paul Clifford to Speak at 2013 E-Signatures Conference
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 -- The Electronic Signature and Records Association (ESRA) has asked Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording company, to present as a panel speaker at this week’s annual E-Signatures Conference in New York City.
Conference speakers will discuss new legislation, trends, and best practices for electronic signatures and electronic records, sharing the most up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise with attendees at the New York Convene November 14-15.
“I’m honored to be attending this year’s ESRA conference as a panel speaker and look forward to discussing the benefits and best practices of e-signatures and e-recording,” said Clifford, who is recognized as an e-recording industry founder. “These processes are secure and simpler for everyone involved, and I’m hopeful that they will continue to set the standard for business operations in the industry and recording jurisdictions nationwide.”
Clifford along with Marc L. Aronson, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries, will speak at 11:45 a.m. on Friday during the panel discussion: “E-Sign: Notarization & Recording – ‘Notary, Submitter, Recorder: A History of Where We Were, Where We Are and Where We Want to Be.” Together they will present the evolution of notarization, submission, and recordation of documents across the nation’s 3600 recording jurisdictions as well as future goals for e-recording.
Other topics on the conference agenda include an “ESIGN 101,” an overview of the current state and federal laws for e-recording and e-signatures, an “ESIGN 103,” reviewing compliance and e-disclosures, and case studies from current, real world implementations of these electronic practices.
