People still need to buy homes, downsize, or renovate and we can help guide them through the increasingly rigorous and confusing loan process.

Fairway Independent Mortgage is pleased to announce their relocation to 60 Wells Ave. in Newton from their previous offices on Crawford St. in Needham. The branch, opened in 2006 by Amy Tierce and Deana Auman, started in a small office in Needham, then moved to larger space in 2009 when it doubled in size. Continued growth of the branch has once again dictated the need for increased office space necessitating the move from Needham to Newton.

The newer, larger office in the Wells Avenue office park will not only accommodate an increase in staff as the branch continues to recruit new Loan Officers, but will provide an opportunity for Fairway to expand its consumer and Realtor© education efforts. A variety of presentations to both clients and Realtors© are planned featuring Fairway staff and guest speakers, including: First Time Home Buying Seminars, Tips on Staging and Curb Appeal, Understanding the Loan Process, and Financial Planning for Home Owners, among others.

The Fairway Needham Branch, as it has been known, has been the top producing Fairway Branch nationwide for the last five years, and is home to 5 of the company’s top ten producing loan officers. Amy Tierce, the Needham branch manager and Regional Vice President for Fairway credits the extensive knowledge and experience of her team for their success. “We have a core leadership team who each average close to 25 years in the business and are uniquely positioned to educate consumers and Realtors©, especially in the current regulation heavy environment,” says Tierce.

With many mortgage companies hesitant to grow their teams, and some downsizing administrative staff as interest rates tick up slightly, Tierce and Fairway remain optimistic. “The market expands and contracts regularly, but the fact is interest rates have declined dramatically over the last 25 years, and even with a slight increase, are still well below average. People still need to buy homes, downsize, or renovate and we can help guide them through the increasingly rigorous and confusing loan process.”

Now officially located in Newton, the branch includes a satellite office in Holden and serves clients throughout Massachusetts, including those in the Worcester/495 area.
