Don Gardner encourages consumer feedback on all of its home designs on the drawing board.

The blog is one of our main avenues where consumers can provide their feedback. We invite their comments as they can actually influence these upcoming house designs, said Donald A. Gardner, AIA, NCARB – CEO, Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc.

Greenville, SC (PRWEB) October 31, 2013

Donald A. Gardner, Architects announces its re-designed and updated house plans blog. People looking for an easy way to find high quality home plans and designs will enjoy this blog that features a variety of small, country, Craftsman and other house plans with pictures. Each post offers Home Design Quick Facts which summarize a plan's features, such as room dimensions, built-in storage, ceiling treatments, single living spaces and master suite descriptions. Also included in each post are front and rear home plan renderings and various interior photographs.

Don Gardner’s blog highlights a variety of home styles that offer classic looks and modern conveniences. Recent posts have featured small house plans with single dining areas, Craftsman style homes with bonus rooms for expansion and cottage plans with angled garages. Don Gardner has found that photographs inspire people to comment on home plans. While the blog has been popular for several years it was redesigned to make it even more visually appealing for those people who are interested in seeing home plans with pictures.

Over the years consumer feedback has helped shape many of Don Gardner's house plans. The blog is one of many touch points that consumers can use to communicate with Don Gardner. It links to a popular recurring feature on the Don Gardner website, House Plans on the Drawing Board, which allows readers to comment on home plan drafts.

“The blog is one of our main avenues where consumers can provide their feedback. We invite their comments as they can actually influence these upcoming house designs,” said Donald A. Gardner, AIA, NCARB – CEO, Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc. Mr. Gardner mentioned that the You Asked, We Answered blog feature is becoming more popular. " You Asked, We Answered gives readers yet another way to let us know their thoughts and what they'd like to see in our home plans,” Mr. Gardner said. “We want to ensure that people can always get their ideas to us so we can create plans that fit their lifestyle. This new blog feature gives us another way to do that."

Questions come in from all over the country, and the Don Gardner staff responds promptly to each one. People have asked about home plans with in-law suites, designs that work on narrow lots, courtyard style garages, popular house plans and small home plans; reflecting today’s trends and lifestyle concerns.

One of the best elements of the blog is its new look. It has been updated with a new WordPress template that makes content easier to scan and allows for inclusion of more photos and features. The blog offers one place where consumers can see photos of Don Gardner home plans. Each blog post also offers links to Don Gardner's collection of house designs on several popular social networks. These include Houzz (Don Gardner won a Best of Houzz award in 2013), Flickr (where customer-submitted photos are posted), Facebook, Google +, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest. The Pinterest house plan boards are especially helpful to consumers as they are arranged by home plan type and include extensive sections of interior photography. These social touch points along with the newly designed blog allow the Don Gardner team to respond rapidly to consumers’ ideas of what a quality home should look like.

Old World elegance is created by a beautiful combination of stucco and stone. A towering entryway makes a grand impression on the front façade, but the rear elevation - with its turret and covered porches - is just as magnificent.
