National Association of Professional Women honors Karen Gaskins Jones as a 2013/2014 Professional Woman of the Year for leadership in consulting services with this prestigious distinction. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a vibrant networking community with over 500,000 members and nearly 400 Local Chapters.

Working with both individuals and organizations across the public, private and nonprofit sectors, Ms. Jones demonstrates a steadfast dedication to JLH’s mission of understanding each client’s realities, while maintaining a shared commitment to expanding possibilities and achieving goals.

As principal of JLH Associates, Ms. Jones is the primary consultant and engagement leader for all JLH projects. With her skilled training, consulting and executive coaching techniques, she leads project-based teams of talented associates in strengthening their clients’ strategic directions, talents and leadership abilities. She expertly handles issues for effectively managing a diverse workforce and a supportive learning environment, practices that have led each of her clients to individual and organizational excellence. With high praise from the clients they have serviced, JLH continues to expand its already rich history of coaching and training their clients to the path of success.

Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Jones is the author of Leadership Development & Emergency Succession Planning: an Organizational Planning Workbook, “Preparing an Organization for Sustainable Leadership” (Non-Profit Quarterly/Spring 2007) and countless other informative learning tools. “We create environments and experiences that inspire, educate and support individuals to perform with heightened competencies and leadership,” she says.
