Jean A. Balgrosky is recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.

NAPW honors Jean A. Balgrosky as a 2013/2014 Professional Woman of the Year for leadership in business with this prestigious distinction. Ms. Balgrosky brings more than 20 years of CIO experience in the healthcare industry working for such health systems as Scripps Health and Holy Cross Health System (now Trinity Health System). In addition, she is a health IT lecturer at UCLA and is an IT expert with many years of experience leading and implementing systems initiatives while consistently thinking of ways to use IT to advance the vision and strategies of an organization to help it become more efficient and effective. She is the author of Essentials of Health Information Systems and Technology that is due to be published in the summer of 2014.
