Dangriga, Belize (PRWEB) October 17, 2013
Island Expeditions, Belize travel specialists, have introduced Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) to their signature Paradise Islands adventure, making it the only lodge-to-lodge sea kayak and Stand Up Paddleboard journey in Belize.
The five day/six night Paradise Islands package combines the adventure and excitement of a sea kayak journey with the comforts of staying in small island lodges. This season guests can also use SUPs to explore the tranquil, turquoise waters of Southwater Caye Marine Reserve. The trip costs $1699 and includes accommodations, meals, activities, guiding and instruction, and taxes. No previous paddling experience is required.
Stand Up Paddleboarding has taken off over the last few years and is now a hugely popular form of recreation and fitness. Island Expeditions’ Director Leif Sverre is excited about the possibilities – “Introduced by the Hawaiians as a way to play and travel in the ocean, we thought it would be a natural fit to use SUPs to explore the protected waters and pristine coral reefs of the Belize Barrier Reef.”
