Connecticut Begins E-Recording in Waterbury and Manchester with Simplifile
Waterbury, Conn. (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- Simplifile, the nation’s largest electronic recording (e-recording) service provider, announced today its first two Connecticut towns, Waterbury and Manchester, are now accepting land record documents for e-recording.
The newly available e-recording technology will enable both local and national document submitters such as title companies, banks, attorneys, and lien filers, to electronically submit documents through Simplifile to the town clerks’ offices, eliminating courier fees, travel time, and paper, among other cost and time-saving benefits.
“Manchester, Conn., has continuously been recognized by the National League of Cities for its use of technology in local government,” said Manchester Town Clerk Joe Camposeo. “As a leader, our decision to move forward with e-recording shows our commitment for utilizing technology in the best interests of our citizens and customers. I am delighted to see this opportunity occur and look forward to the growth of e-recording in Connecticut.”
Not only will Simplifile’s service benefit the towns’ customers, but it will also streamline and expedite the recording process within the clerk’s office, as the workflow becomes automated electronically and less time-consuming.
“Within minutes, documents can be received, reviewed, stamped, recorded and returned back to the customer all through Simplifile,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “Our goal is to make the process as smooth and as simple as possible for both parties. Without question, Simplifile’s e-recording service is the fastest, most secure and efficient way to deliver documents for recording.”
Waterbury and Manchester join more than 900 counties throughout the nation that have adopted Simplifile’s e-recording service.
