Surefire Social™, a provider of local digital marketing strategies, today announced Cian Chang has joined the company as Chief Product Officer (CPO). As CPO, Chang will be responsible for driving Surefire Social’s product strategy and continuing to expand and deepen the company’s emerging hyperlocal digital marketing technology and services.

A product management veteran for leading companies, including Deltek and AOL, Chang brings nearly 20 years of experience driving innovative digital product, content and community initiatives at scale. His addition to the team comes at a time when Surefire Social is rapidly expanding its local digital marketing technology and services for its growing national to local marketing enterprise client base.

Chang most recently served as Vice President of Communities and Business Development Workflow Solutions for Deltek. He also led the effort to build the team, product and community for the startup mySBX.com, a business collaboration portal, from concept through acquisition by Deltek. Prior to that, Chang led product management teams at AOL responsible for six major releases of the AOL subscription service and for extending AOL’s offerings onto mobile phones, pagers, PDAs, and TV set-top boxes.
