MarketingProfs B2B Bright Bulb Awards honors OutMarket for Spring 2014 Marketing Manifesto

OutMarket, a provider of marketing automation software and services was announced as the winner of the Large In-House Marketing Campaign of the Year award at the second annual MarketingProfs B2B Bright Bulb Awards last week. The awards celebrate the excellence, innovation and brilliance of today’s B2B marketers.

OutMarket was a recipient among top brands such as Tripwire, Spiceworks and lifetime achievement award winner Seth Godin. The B2B Bright Bulb awards was judged by MarketingProfs staff and an external judging committee of marketing practitioners including Lee Odden of TopRank Online Marketing, Nick Westergaard of Brand Driven Digital and Doug Kessler of Velocity Partners

The Evolve Marketing campaign, part of the Spring ’14 release of OutMarket software, was innovative because it challenged marketers to stop accepting typical solutions and software and instead evolve to meet the changing landscape of marketing for more quantifiable success. The campaign also represents the largest evolution of OutMarket marketing software to date and also a tremendous shift in the industry.

The campaign included a marketing manifesto written by OutMarket CEO You Mon Tsang which included philosophies on making marketing automation available for everyone. The manifesto was presented on a branded, interactive microsite, which included a video, infographic and other marketing automation resources. A social contest was also executed as part of the campaign and encouraged marketers to share how they think marketing should evolve using the hashtag #EvolveMKTG.

The campaign utilized OutMarket’s clients, online audience, employee base, partners and influencers to launch the software and #EvolveMKTG campaign. Campaign tactics were multi-faceted and spanned social and traditional media as well as content marketing and multimedia.
