Mutual Benefit Group Appoints Attorney Peter M. McManamon to Board of Directors
Huntingdon, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) January 02, 2014 -- Attorney Peter M. McManamon of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, has been appointed to the Mutual Benefit Group (MBG) Board of Directors.
Affiliated with the law firm of Gill, McManamon and Ghaner in Huntingdon, McManamon has been involved in the general practice of law in the Huntingdon community for over 25 years. He specializes in real estate law, litigation, municipal law, workers’ compensation cases, and estates and contacts.

McManamon earned a bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University and then completed his juris doctorate through the University of Pittsburgh in 1984. He has been admitted to the Huntingdon County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Superior Court, Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Western District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Among the clients he represents are J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon; the Huntingdon County Commissioners; Huntingdon County Children and Youth Services; and numerous municipalities and municipal authorities.
A volunteer with The Peace Corps from 1977-79, McManamon currently serves the Huntingdon community as chairman of the Huntingdon County Library Board of Directors, a member of the Finance Council at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and as a board member of the Huntingdon Soccer Club. He volunteered as a coach for the Huntingdon Community Center for 16 years.
