Ryan Watts of Jurin Roofing Services Wins the Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress Most Valuable Player Award
Quakertown, PA (PRWEB) December 31, 2013 -- Every year the Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress recognizes and honors outstanding roofing workers from various U.S. regions with their Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. To be a successful roofing contractor, distributor or supplier you must have reliable, dedicated employees. Among those employees usually one stands out. The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress' Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards program identifies and honors a maximum of 10 outstanding roofing workers.
One of the winners for 2013-14 is Ryan Watts, foreman for Jurin Roofing Services, Inc. Ryan Watts is a shining example of what hard work, commitment and going above and beyond the call of duty can bring. He started with Jurin Roofing Services as a novice in 2004. In the first two years he mastered the many complex nuances of roofing to become a foreman. His eagerness, capability to learn quickly and strong leadership skills have quickly made him a top notch roofing foreman. Ryan keeps the job site organized and running smoothly and efficiently while still achieving perfection in roofing and contentment among his crew members.
Outside of work Ryan is a volunteer fire fighter for the Milford Township Fire Department. His love of helping people has carried through since his childhood. “I can remember watching the fire trucks in the parades as a kid and thinking about how much I wanted to be a fireman and help people when I grew up.” Ryan has now been a volunteer fire fighter for 16 years which requires a high level of commitment. He also helps the community in many other ways as a firefighter by talking with children at schools about fire safety and prevention, helping run fundraisers, and helping bring the community together by helping to run fairs and street carnivals during the summer. Ryan has also recently been awarded the Community Service and Public Education Firemark Award though Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for his everyday self-sacrifice and tireless efforts to protect and promote public safety.
Winning a Most Valuable Player (MVP) award is an outstanding accomplishment and great honor. Companies nominate their employees who deserve to be recognized for exceptional achievements and contributions to the roofing industry in five categories. MVPs are role models who demonstrate work-related and personal goals to which others aspire. Through this program, you can nominate your MVP for an award to formally recognize his or her outstanding contributions.
In addition, one of the MVP winners will be chosen to be Professional Roofing's Best of the Best. Professional Roofing and OMG Roofing Products Inc. co-sponsor this elite recognition. In addition to a special prize, the winner will be featured in an article in Professional Roofing.
