Copeland Mill Dental Collects 205 Pounds of Food, Gift Cards, and Other Donations for W.A.R.M.
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) December 31, 2013 -- Trying to stave off hunger and brighten the holidays of the community, Copeland Mill Dental hosted a nonperishable food drive November 4, 2013 to December 19, 2013, collecting 205 pounds of food, gift cards, diapers, and other baby care items. The food and other donations are being distributed to people in need by W.A.R.M., the Westerville Area Resource Ministry. The food alone is enough to provide nearly one hundred meals.
“Copeland Mill was excited to continue our participation with W.A.R.M. again this year,” stated Karyn White, D.D.S. “We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our patients and our community."
Copeland Mill Dental has made it their mission to improve dental care for their community. They take an active role in many different events and recently hosted Give Kids a Smile, a day in which they provided free exams, cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants and dental education to children.
“Since 1972, W.A.R.M. has provided a hand up to members of the community who need it,” stated Patty Edwards, Director of W.A.R.M.’s Food Pantry. “In 2012 we provided over 307,000 meals to 5,371 families, and helped 61 individuals find employment.” “At the holidays, and every day, they help people through tough times,” said Dr. White. Similarly, at Copeland Mill Dental, sparkling dental care comes with a generous spirit.
