Unanet's Richard Hayden Joins Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Local software firm continues work with Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce in its mission to create and promote a world class quality of life in Loudoun County.

Unanet, a developer of services automation software that helps organizations manage people and projects for improved profitability, has announced that Richard Hayden, Unanet Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, will join the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2014. Unanet is headquartered near Dulles, VA and undertakes all its software development and support in Loudoun County.

Founded in 1968, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce has grown to become the second largest Chamber of Commerce in Northern Virginia. With more than 1,100 members it forms the premier network of businesses and community leaders in one of the nation’s most economically vibrant and fastest growing counties. The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, responsible for establishing all legal, financial, programmatic and legislative policies and overseeing the activities of the President & CEO and the organization’s 10 member professional staff.

Richard Hayden has over twenty-five years experience of domestic and international marketing at enterprise software companies located in the US and Europe. His expertise in the project and process management software industries helps Unanet determine the strategic positioning needed to successfully market its product line. At Unanet he is responsible for product requirements management, product marketing and partner communications. He leads the Unanet team in defining target markets and clarifying product features, and in marketing communications to customers, prospects and partners. Richard has Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork in Ireland, and an MBA from Henley Management College in England.

Richard also participates in the Professional Services Council Contract Finance and Cash Flow Committee, and is a judge and sponsor of the Loudoun County Public Schools Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
