Continuing a commitment to corporate benevolence, a Colorado-based senior foundations executive will join the Board of Managers at Global Food Exchange (GFE). Mr. Joseph Ignat, Managing Director of Blackburn Capital LLC, has led or participated in capital acquisition projects for a variety of firms in a variety of industries over twenty years, ranging from major motion pictures to nonprofits such as the Denver Civic Theatre.
Global Food Exchange™, headquartered in Littleton, CO, was founded out of the need to more efficiently provide emergency disaster relief efforts internationally. Joseph Ignat will work to advance Global Food Exchange’s mission with his experience in capital acquisition projects, initial and start-up phase financing, non-profit and foundation management.
Richard Lackey, CEO of Global Food Exchange™, started the company to establish a more efficient and prepared chain of action for international disaster response. Global Food Exchange is a benevolently-minded free market solution that is gaining momentum in large part due to its high caliber participants. Together with the international community, GFE aims to establish a prepared global network ready for rapid response, which supports the efforts of aid organizations to save more lives.
