Candice Edwards is joining Ratio as VP of Strategy and Corporate Business Development and Mike Lucero is joining as VP of Product Strategy and Connected TV. Ms. Edwards will work closely with members of senior management to identify and map strategic direction, product roadmaps, the integration of new business models, and the incubation of new technologies. Mr. Lucero will lead product development initiatives for Ratio and its clients including the expansion of CypressX, Ratio’s flagship application framework for Xbox, to other OTT platforms.

Prior to founding Mbark Digital, Ms. Edwards was responsible for driving new business initiatives in the media and entertainment sector for Ooyala, widely recognized as the leading online video technology platform and analytics provider. While at Ooyala, Candice drove TV Everywhere and multi-platform distribution engagements with Disney Interactive Entertainment (Disney.com), Red Bull, Machinima, and Sony. She has held various senior positions with companies such as Oracle, Autonomy, and RealNetworks,

As one of the first Microsoft team members that built Xbox Live, which now boasts nearly 50MM subscribers and billions of dollars in revenue and profit, Mike has played key roles on all sides of the media ecosystem, including: Publisher, Content Strategist and Advertiser. More recently, Mike helped major media publishers including ABC/ESPN, CBS, NBC, Viacom, Hulu, UFC, VEVO, Last.FM, Machinima, Crackle, Last.fm, and BSkyB deliver their content on Xbox, resulting in billions of hours of viewership and valuable new media assets for the platform. Prior to working at Microsoft, Mike ran advertising for several media brands including FX Cable (which he helped launch) and CBS, as well as other brands including JBL and Microsoft.
