Cooper Hurley published another pocket guide in 2013 – Your Rights When You Are Injured on the Railroad. The book has been used by railroad workers who were hurt on the job and are making a claim under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA).
John Cooper said tractor-trailer accidents are often more serious than accidents involving cars, but those who are injured in truck crashes don’t always know their rights. He said the guide provides information on how to take legal action against trucking companies, manufacturers of big-rigs, shipping companies, leasing companies and brokers or agents.
