Krome Photos App 2.1 Makes Communicating with a Real Photo Editor Seamless and Easy
Palo Alto, California (PRWEB) January 03, 2014 -- Krome Photos today announced a new version (2.1) of their popular iOS app, which now enables consumers to easily communicate back and forth with their own personal photo editor. With customer service unmatched in the app ecosystem, Krome’s consumers now know their mobile images are retouched to their satisfaction, guaranteed.
New features in version 2.1 support Krome’s 100% guarantee by including the ability to request a re-edit of retouched photos until the consumer is satisfied. For a limited time Krome’s free app also includes a $10 credit for first time customers to try their Custom or Express Retouching services.
“Part of the magic of the Krome Retouching service is that your editor is making artistic decisions to meet your requirements, such as ‘replace background with green garden,’” comments Eduardo Llach, CEO and founder of Krome Photos. “With our new release, the editors will be able to share what they’ve done and ask customers questions that can enhance final results.”
How it Works
On its website or in app, Krome offers two retouching services. An Express Retouch (starting at 50 cents) fixes common issues that occur with iPhone photography such as color, saturation, lighting, etc. The Custom Retouch (starting at $6.99) does all of that plus more advanced image edits like fixing composition or removing distracting elements. Unlike most photo apps that are either tech tools or filters, Krome’s retouches are done by real photo editors, who customers can easily communicate with. Version 2.1 offers messages between editor and customers in several ways:
- Works in Progress: Editors can send urgent questions, comments or suggestions about retouches in progress through direct messages that are coded as important (orange coding).
- Retouch Complete: Editors will also send details that help customers make informed decisions about their retouched photos when an order is complete (coded in blue). Customers have the option to request a “re-edit” and provide the editor with comments, feedback and requests. This process can continue until the customer gets what they want.
- Retouch Ready for Printing: Customers who ordered printing services will now have the option to review the retouched image and approve it before going to print. This step makes it possible for editors to share feedback on the quality of the image file and thoughts on how it will translate into a print.
