Providence (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/947573931/the-palladium-gun-rubber-band-gun/posts
This is a redesigned rubber band gun for use in the office, at home or on the playground.
Nikolas Bentel was asked to redesign and mass produce an object. He chose to redesign a rubber band gun. (Here is his website http://www.nikolasbenteldesign.com)
-The gun comes in a kit form with 19 easy to assemble wood parts.
-The gun can be assembled in less than 5 minutes.
-The gun is fastened with only 9 fasteners. (no glue required)
-Cut out of 1/8 inch birch plywood for a nice feel and good look.
-The gun shoots 10 shots and distances of 20-25 feet.
-All manufactured and designed in the U.S.A.
THE PLAN:
-Continue Testing (which has been accomplished) (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/947573931/the-palladium-gun-rubber-band-gun/posts)
- Manufacturers are in order so production will begin once the kickstarter is funded.
-woodcraft.com will supply the baltic birch and crown and bolt will supply the plastic pins. (approximately 1 week)
-Providence's Precision Laser Cutters will then cut out all the pieces. (http://www.precisionlaserri.com/) (approximately 1-2 weeks and depends on how many orders there are)
-It is as simple as that.
