Five new getaway packages are being offered at Old Sturbridge Village this winter, featuring overnight stays at the Old Sturbridge Inn and Reeder Family Lodges and a variety of historic dining and entertainment options. The Yankee Winter Weekend Package offers visitors a historic New England weekend getaway experience for two. The package includes a two-night stay, a Friday evening welcome reception, two-day admission to Old Sturbridge Village, a hearth-cooked dinner at the Bullard Tavern on Saturday evening, a 19th-century magic show, and Sunday brunch at the Oliver Wight Tavern. The Yankee Winter Weekend Package is available for check-in on February 7, 2014, or February 28, 2014, with pricing starting at $375 per package.

The Hearthside Bounty Package allows guests to enjoy a historic dining experience in which costumed staff prepare a hearth-cooked dinner, teach guests period table manners, and perform period tavern entertainment. This package includes a one night stay at the Old Sturbridge Inn and Reeder Family Lodges, two-day admission for two guests, two tickets to Dinner in a Country Village on Saturday, February 15, 2014, and a bottle of champagne. Pricing for the Romance Package starts at $303 per package.

Visitors can enjoy an authentic 19th-century culinary experience with the Dinner in a Country Village package, available for check in on March 1, 2014 or March 22, 2014. Dinner in a Country Village is a unique opportunity to prepare and eat a meal as early New Englanders did, with participants assisting costumed interpreters with the roasting, baking, and mulling. The package includes a one-night stay, two-day admission to Old Sturbridge Village for two guests, and two tickets to Dinner in a Country Village, with pricing starting at $263 per package.

The Celtic Celebration Package, available for check in on March 15, offers visitors Irish music, food, dancing, and stories. The package includes a one-night stay, two-day admission to Old Sturbridge Village for two guests, two tickets to the Full Gael Celtic Celebration concert on Saturday, March 15, 2014, and Sunday Brunch for two at the Oliver Wight Tavern. Pricing for the Celtic Celebration Package starts at $179 per package.
