On December 18, a new lawsuit was filed by a man in Illinois Northern District Court (1:2013cv09015) alleging that he suffered serious and permanent injuries from his Stryker hip replacement. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that he was implanted with the Stryker Rejuvenate hip in 2010 and, in 2013, he underwent revision surgery.
Another lawsuit was filed on November 18, by a woman in Illinois Central District Court (case no. 1:2013cv01549) alleging that she suffered injuries from her Stryker hip replacement. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she was implanted with the Stryker hip implant in 2012 and she had to undergo revision surgery suffering serious injuries.
