Worcester, Worcestershire (PRWEB UK) 7 January 2014
Centremaps, an Ordnance Survey Partner for over 10 years, today announced its first App release, SkySpy for iPhone and iPad. SkySpy is a unique quiz game App that tests knowledge of Great Britain from above.
“SkySpy has brought together Aerial Imagery and Mobile App Game Play to develop a Quiz Game that gives a really different view of Great Britain,” said Rob Stringer, Strategic Manager and creator of SkySpy.
SkySpy requires the game player to recognise famous British Landmarks from sky view and features Multiple Choice or Free Text questions. Players must answer quickly as the faster they are, the more points they can earn.
London Landmarks, the first of 7 game question packs, is made up 30 well known London locations and comes with 10 clue credits. Scores can be posted to the Game Centre and completed question images can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, Email and MMS.
Educationally, SkySpy becomes a resource through in-game links to Wikipedia upon completion of each question, meaning the user enjoys gameplay and learning simultaneously.
SkySpy is a free to download App Store for iPhone and iPad. Additional packs will appeal, with topics such as Premier League Stadiums, Planes Trains & Automobiles, Great British Buildings and Great British History and Geography, all available via In-App Purchase.
