American Quilter’s Society Appoints New Marketing Director

American Quilter’s Society, the largest quilting membership organization in the world and producer of the AQS QuiltWeek® multistate event series, is pleased to announce the addition of Katherine Rupp as marketing director. Rupp will be responsible for overall organizational marketing and media relations, as well as driving membership and subscription growth.

American Quilter’s Society, the largest quilting membership organization in the world and producer of the AQS QuiltWeek® multistate event series, is pleased to announce the addition of Katherine Rupp as marketing director. Rupp will be responsible for overall organizational marketing and media relations, as well as driving membership and subscription growth.

Rupp joins the American Quilter’s Society after 15 years as a marketing leader in the New York area, where she worked extensively with a number of organizations, including MetLife, First Meridian Mortgage, and the North Shore-LIJ Health System. Rupp has also been an instructor and presenter on marketing tools and social media for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Suffolk County and the Community Development Corporation of Long Island, and held executive board positions with Public Relations Professionals of Long Island, Suffolk County MBDC, and Enterprising and Professional Women. Rupp first began admiring quilts during extensive visits with family in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

American Quilter’s Society Chief Operating Officer Richard Louise states, “Ms. Rupp brings a wealth of marketing experience with her, including membership outreach and campaign management. We are excited to have her on board.”
