AC Pro Donates Over $5,000 to Hume Lake Christian Camp Wildwood After Successful Social Media Campaign
Fontana, CA (PRWEB) January 06, 2014 -- AC Pro will donate $5,113 to Hume Lake Christian Camp–Wildwood, following a successful social media campaign, It is the culmination of a campaign begun in December in which AC Pro would donate one dollar to Wildwood for every new Facebook® “Like” the company received during the month, up to $10,000.
This is AC Pro’s first time supporting Wildwood. "We are so excited to have partnered with AC Pro in this fundraising effort. So far, it has been a great success!" said Corey Fenn, Director of Wildwood Camp at Hume Lake. "Wildwood is a great place for young people to find and hone their life's purpose. It's great to see them grow." Hume Lake estimates more than 900,000 young people and adults have attended their conferences and camps since being founded in 1946. Hume Lake is currently raising funds to renovate an outdated kitchen and old bathrooms on the 67-year-old property.
“We wanted to help, once we learned that Wildwood’s youth camp was in need of money to renovate their kitchens and restrooms.” said Andrew Webb, business development manager for AC Pro. “As a family-owned air conditioning company, we strive to support organizations that are making a true difference in the lives of children and teens. According to company officials, AC Pro had guaranteed to donate at least $2,500 to Wildwood. “We are thrilled that over 5,000 people liked our page in support of Hume Lake in December. Because of their help, we were able to donate $5,113 towards a great cause!” Webb said.
