Foot Levelers to Honor Three at Parker Seminars Las Vegas
Roanoke, Virginia (PRWEB) January 08, 2014 -- Foot Levelers is presenting two awards as a part of the ceremonies at the Parker Seminars Las Vegas event, honoring Dr. Frank Nicchi and Dr. Dan Murphy. Dr. Nicchi, the President of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC), is being presented with the Dr. Monte Greenawalt Award for Chiropractic Excellence, while Dr. Murphy, a noted and well-respected chiropractic practitioner, is receiving the Foot Levelers 2014 Achievement Award for Clinical Excellence. In addition to those awards, Foot Levelers will be presenting a Graduate Pack to Dr. Mark Elam, a 2013 graduate of Logan University and its Doctor of Chiropractic degree program.
Dr. Nicchi has served as President of New York Chiropractic College since 2000; and in that time, the school has undergone tremendous physical and educational growth. Under Dr. Nicchi’s watch, NYCC opened the Seneca Falls Health Center in 2003, a 19,400 square foot multidisciplinary, integrated healthcare facility. NYCC has also established several clinical relationships during Dr. Nicchi’s tenure, including collaborations with SUNY Stoney Brook, SUNY Buffalo, and St. John Fisher University. During Dr. Nicchi’s tenure as NYCC President, the school has hosted the Special Olympics of New York fall games four times (2003, 2004, 2009, 2010). Dr. Nicchi has served as the President of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges.

Dr. Murphy has been a practicing chiropractor for over 30 years after his graduation from Western States Chiropractic College in 1978. The Vice President of the International Chiropractic Association since 2003, Dr. Murphy is a part-time lecturer in the undergraduate chiropractic program at Life Chiropractic College West.
“There are few with the intellectual knowledge and experience as Dr. Murphy,” noted Dr. Zeigler. “He brings relevancy and excitement to everyone who experiences his lectures and programs.”
