Certified Professional Midwives Offer "Exploring Your Birth Options" Class
Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) January 07, 2014 -- Beginning in January 2014, couples in the Fort Worth, Texas area can attend an "Exploring Your Birth Options" class at Edenway Birth Center. Hosted by certified professional midwives, the class is open to women and their families to learn about different birth options in the Fort Worth area. The class is designed for those who are pregnant or considering pregnancy, and interested in exploring the possibility of out-of-hospital birth.

The class will include the different kinds of care providers for pregnant women, the services they provide, common questions surrounding out of hospital birth, and safety concerns and studies. There will be time for questions and a tour of the birth center and birth cottage will be available following the class. Mothers can also receive assistance in connecting with local resources that can offer support throughout pregnancy and birth.
"Choosing your provider and location of birth are two of the single most important decisions you will make during your pregnancy", said midwife Rosetta Schwartz. "This free workshop will help couples to understand the options for their birth, and educate friends and family who aren't sure what midwifery care really means to the birthing family."
Exploring Your Birth Options is preceded each month by The Excellent Beginnings Early Pregnancy class at 1:00 p.m. The early pregnancy class is $10.
