Many people today have lost hope and their ability to dream big dreams and go after them.

Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” While this is an encouraging thought, some who dream are too scared to step out of their comfort zones and “do.”
“Many people today have lost hope and their ability to dream big dreams and go after them,” author Marlene Bierworth said. “I want to inspire them to risk it.”
Using the story of Doug Saunders, a teenage boy who follows his dream of working with sled dogs, Bierworth inspires readers to give their dreams feet—to stop dreaming and start doing.
The author provides a realistic tale of overcoming bullying suitable for the whole family to read together and an insider’s view on dogsledding—thanks to the many years she ran a kennel with her family.
