World Women Leadership Congress & Award to Honor Designer Mel Lim for her Contributions to Society and to Her Industry

Recently identified by the World Women Leadership Congress (WWLCA) as an outstanding leader committed to making a genuine difference through her passionate contribution of distinct innovations and initiatives, Mel Lim will be celebrated with other honorees at the World Women Leadership Congress and Award held February 14, 15, 2014 at TAJ Lands End, Mumbai (India). In 2012 and 2013, Mel Lim focused on getting the word out about design methodologies in business innovation speaking at forums in Taipei and Taichung, Taiwan, at a webinar with RGD Ontario, at the Design Research Conference in Chicago, during a session at the UX Design Conference in Menlo Park, and at the WebVisions conference in Portland, Oregon. Mel Lim is always eager to share her perspectives on how design and innovation live in a dynamic world and how designers must be both bold rule breakers and balance human issues and systems in order to advance their perspectives. The Women Leadership Achievement award being conferred upon Mel Lim will consist of a statuette and a citation.
