New York, NY (PRWEB) January 09, 2014

Priori Legal, an online platform that connects businesses with a curated network of quality lawyers, announces today the company’s launch in Westchester County, Albany, Syracuse, and Buffalo. Founded by Yale Law School graduates Basha Frost Rubin and Mirra Levitt, Priori was designed to bring greater transparency to the small business legal services market by providing access to top legal services at below-market prices and, often, fixed fees.

“We’re receiving overwhelming interest from both New York City lawyers and small business owners for our services. Having launched in New York City and Long Island, we wanted to bring Priori to Westchester County since there’s so much natural overlap with our other two markets,” says CEO and Co-Founder Basha Frost Rubin.    “Albany, Syracuse and Buffalo are also quickly becoming hotbeds of entrepreneurial activity in upstate New York, and we want to support this growth by making top notch legal talent accessible in these areas.”

Priori’s streamlined platform makes it easy for small businesses to find lawyers. Rubin and Levitt launched Priori in the Fall of 2013 to encourage small businesses to use legal services on a regular basis, which saves them time and money in the long-run.

Interested businesses begin the process by filling out an initial query online. Priori evaluates each new request and presents a client with a handpicked short-list of those lawyers most suited to handle their matter. In choosing a lawyer, business owners are also entitled to a half-hour, complimentary telephone screen scheduled through the site.

Priori Legal’s lawyer network is invitation-only. Lawyers must apply and go through a rigorous process to be accepted to the elite network. Once accepted, Priori works with each individual lawyer to establish a fee schedule, which includes discounted flat and hourly fees for services offered, as well as other alternative fee packages. Priori also handles billing and invoice collection from businesses.
