Mason-McDuffie Real Estate expands into Santa Clara County.

Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate has entered into a joint venture partnership with Better Homes and Gardens Ventura Barnett Properties in San Jose, according to Ed Krafchow, Chairman and CEO of Mason-McDuffie.

Better Homes and Gardens Ventura Barnett Properties will join the 126-year old Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate, which has over 1,100 agents in 30 offices throughout northern California. Tony Ventura will continue to lead the San Jose and Campbell offices, with 115 agents.

Ed Krafchow, the CEO for Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie said, “This is a very important moment for Mason-McDuffie Real Estate, Inc. Over the past three years, we have strategically restructured the company. We have exited distressed markets, strengthened our presence in San Francisco, opened a Wine Country real estate group in Napa and Sonoma, and continued our dominant presence in the East Bay. Now with our entrance into Santa Clara County, we will complete this restructuring by moving down the Peninsula and connecting our presence throughout the entire Bay Area.”

Tony Ventura operated Ventura Barnett Properties, an independent real estate firm, for five years before becoming an affiliate of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in 2008. When asked why Better Homes and Gardens Ventura Barnett Properties entered into this partnership with Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie, Tony Ventura stated, “We are gaining the strength of a legacy company that adds an additional layer of services for our agents and their clients, including technology, marketing, training, lead generation and more.”

“We are delighted to join forces with Tony Ventura, one of the really fine brokers in Santa Clara County, and over 100 agents committed to serving their clients at the highest level,” said Rich Casto, Chief Strategy Officer, Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate.

“We now have a number of great partnerships throughout the San Francisco Bay Area,” said Keith Robinson, COO, Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate. “These partnerships are part of our growth strategy and work extremely well.”

The Better Homes and Gardens Ventura Barnett Properties office will remain at 5985 Almaden Expressway, in San Jose. To reach Tony Ventura, call (408) 997-9999.
