Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services (IFS) Cluster Hosts “Get Hired” Event
Hartford, CT (PRWEB) January 07, 2014 -- Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services (IFS) Cluster, a business organization comprised of Connecticut’s most-recognized insurance and financial services companies, yesterday presented one of the largest career fairs in Connecticut. The career fair, entitled “Get Hired,” was open to all college students seeking professional opportunities in Connecticut’s insurance and financial services sector.
The event attracted 463 attendees hailing from academic institutions in Connecticut and even across the country. Get Hired featured senior human resources recruiters from 21 regional, national and globally recognized IFS companies.
“Get Hired was a fantastic opportunity to meet talented, energetic future professionals,” said Gregory Roto, Vice President of Human Resources for Vantis Life Insurance Company, a Get Hired participant. “The fair showcased lots of traffic, some very promising candidates and a truly great representation of the future workforce for IFS.
