Pro Mach Completes Acquisition of Global Capping Leader André Zalkin
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) January 08, 2014 -- Pro Mach, Inc. announced today the completion of its acquisition of leading global capping machinery manufacturer Ets. André Zalkin & Cie. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Zalkin’s management team and employees will continue to operate from their facilities in Montreuil L’Argillé and Rueil-Malmaison, France.
Pro Mach owned a minority stake in Zalkin before acquiring the remaining shares this week. The two companies have enjoyed a more than 40-year successful relationship that began when Pro Mach’s Fowler Products division and Zalkin initiated a partnership in 1972. Together, Fowler and Zalkin have delivered advanced capping solutions to a diverse customer base of food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods companies.
Pro Mach is one of North America’s largest packaging machinery and integrated system providers, with more than 20 equipment brands sold throughout the world. It manufactures and supports solutions for primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, processing, end of line, material handling, and identification and tracking.
