ShopSocially Signs Marketing Expert Engle E. Saez as Special Advisor to the Board

Senior marketing professional and leader from renowned brands like Eddie Bauer, Blue Nile and Starbucks, Engle Saez is joining ShopSocially’s Advisory Board.

ShopSocially today announced that it has signed senior marketing and branding executive Engle E. Saez to its advisory board. “Engle Saez is an accomplished general manager and marketing leader with over 25 years of experience and will bring a valuable dimension, complimentary to our advisory board,” commented Jai Rawat, CEO of ShopSocially. “Engle’s guidance will help us strategize the platform evolution in perfect alignment with the needs of retailers and emerging trends in social media.”

Mr. Saez is currently Executive Vice President and CMO of FundersClub, the world’s first online venture capital firm. “I attended one of ShopSocially’s webinars and was impressed by their approach to social commerce. Prior to joining FundersClub, Saez spent 25 years building and growing consumer brands in the multi-channel retail space, operating in executive management roles for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including: SVP of Marketing and Category Management at Starbucks Coffee Company; President, Sperry Top-Sider; SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Eddie Bauer, Inc.; President, Esprit Footwear and Accessories; Chief Marketing Officer, Blue Nile; Director of Marketing, Timberland Footwear Company; SVP, G.H. Bass & Company, Inc. Saez also founded two startups: Atlantic Rancher, a men’s rugged outdoor apparel company and Zovo, a women’s intimate apparel brand. Saez studied architecture at Taliesen, The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture and holds a degree of Bachelor of Arts equivalent in Architecture.
