Lawn & Garden Tool Inventors Opt For Team Marketing Approach
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) January 10, 2014 -- The Mighty Mini Digger has proved to be an innovative solution for quickly boring holes for yard signs, plants, posts etc. But the strategy the lawn & garden tool’s inventors will use to market it is every bit as innovative.
And perhaps a sign of the entrepreneurial times we live in.
The father and son team of Louis and Phillip Mlecka of Brooksville, Florida perfected this new light plastic digging tool.
“Our Mighty Mini Digger is ideal for a range of uses including installing posts, plants, flag poles, trees, flower bulbs and bird feeders etc.,” says Louis Mlecka. “Why go to the trouble of boring an oversized hole—only to then have to fill most of it in again? For diameters of just two inches or more this is the ideal way to go.”
And rather than shipping their digger to lawn & garden stores, they’ve come up with the idea of manufacturing key components—and then allowing outside entrepreneurs to complete the product assembly and market it in their area.
Simple PCV pipe lengths supplied by these marketing partners are used to complete each digger, and distribution to stores then usually takes place by consignment.
“We have found there are many entrepreneurs eager to partner in selling a low-priced, handy and popular digging gadget,” says Louis. “We thus save on both marketing and shipping expenses—while with minimal investment, area distributors gain a new and highly profitable sideline.”
According to Phillip, the tool will continue to be sold individually online and delivered by area distributors. He has also introduced the idea of using the product design for self-digging real estate posts and plant holders.
