Alexander Proudfoot is pleased to announce the recent addition of David Sexton, Executive Vice President of Oil and Gas, to its leadership team. Mr. Sexton, a well-respected industry leader, is responsible for the expansion of sales and solutions efforts within the oil and gas sector.

Mr. Sexton brings more than 30 years of energy industry experience to Proudfoot. His past accomplishments include developing and implementing strategies for upstream, midstream and downstream organizations as well as managing mergers, acquisitions and divestments. Some of his past roles include Vice President at the Royal Dutch/Shell Group and Vice President at Sunoco and Sunoco Logistics.
Mr. Sexton is based out of Proudfoot’s oil and gas practice in Houston, Texas – this location was recently chosen to better serve the needs of the industry.
In addition to his years of experience, Mr. Sexton holds a juris doctor from the South Texas College of Law, a master of business administration from the University of Houston and a bachelor of business administration from Texas A&M University.
