TCS Healthcare Technologies (TCS) and the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) are co-sponsoring a webinar on the ways information technology programs can enhance case management interventions in various clinical and business settings. In particular, the session will delve into the attributes of newly released ACUITY AnyWare™ (AAW) Version 7.00, a web-enabled software program that has been rebuilt to provide independents and small groups of case managers more functionality.

The complimentary webinar, “Using Case Management Software for Independent and Small Groups: An Overview of ACUITY AnyWare Version 7.00,” will review information technology trends for case management while highlighting the advantages of a program like ACUITY AnyWare. To register for the January 15, 2014 session from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (EST), visit https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/230019458 or click here.

Originally introduced in 2008, TCS has rebuilt AAW’s interface from the ground up. It now features a dashboard of activities that allows for easier navigation, improved search functionality and workflow efficiency. The presentation will provide a demo of AAW, which will highlight the software’s key functions and features.

“CMSA is pleased to co-host this important presentation,” says CMSA executive director and webinar co-presenter, Cheri Lattimer, RN, BSN. “ACUITY AnyWare is a hosted application, which can be used without the need to install expensive software or have technical support to maintain it. The application allows users to transition from a manual system to an electronic system specifically suited to the activities of a nurse case manager.”

According to TCS founder and CEO Rob Pock, “We are proud to have worked with CMSA in the past on a number of different projects. This webinar highlights our joint efforts to break down technological barriers for case managers of all types through ACUITY AnyWare. The tracking and support of patient case management has never been more user friendly,” Pock adds, “with less time needed to become proficient in using the application, and in return, improve and report clinical outcomes. New for 2014, AAW Version 7.00 is feature-packed and easy to use.”

During the hour-long session, webinar attendees will learn about:

•How ACUITY AnyWare, as a CMSA benefit, can support case managers
•An overview of ACUITY AnyWare key functions
•Some of the challenges for clinicians and others when implementing or using a care management software system
•Recent health IT trends that impact the practice of case management

“The webinar will feature a demo of ACUITY AnyWare highlighting several attributes of the software application such as the electronic task manager function that helps clinicians keep track of daily activities,” says Deborah Keller, RN, BSN, director of client services at TCS and co-presenter. “The presentation also will highlight how a case management software system can optimize our clinical and administrative workflows.”

ACUITY AnyWare is a software solution offered only to CMSA members by TCS. If a case manager is not a member, one can join CMSA as an individual or corporate member to qualify. There are no long-term contracts, and a subscriber may terminate an ACUITY AnyWare software agreement at any time with 30-days written notice.
