This is just the beginning of what we’ll be able to do with the ThinDriver™ TD-12Add a quotable
Rockford, IL (PRWEB) January 08, 2014
Prescient Audio, an American consumer and professional audio manufacturer of high-performance, radical loudspeaker technology, unveiled today three new cutting edge products at a press conference during the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The Apollo AudioCase ™, Dual Subwoofer and Subwoofer In-Wall Cabinet, all utilize the patented, award-winning TD-12 subwoofer technologies developed by Prescient Audio
Prescient Audio’s TD-12 subwoofer, a 2014 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards HONOREE and the precursor to a full line of ThinDrivers™, is turning the industry on its ear with the most radical loudspeaker design development in 90 years. The TD-12 is a high performance, 600 W (1000 W peak) loudspeaker that repositions the components from the traditional location of behind the loudspeaker, forward to the speaker’s perimeter, minimizing depth without sacrificing performance quality.
In conjunction with Product Development Technologies, Inc. (PDT), a global, full-service product development firm, Prescient Audio has debuted one of the most promising pieces of audio technology for smartphones. The Apollo AudioCase is a smartphone case featuring both TrueVoice™ and ThinDriver™ technology. The Apollo puts high quality, high volume, two-way audio in your pocket. “It is, without a doubt, the finest-sounding smartphone audio case in the universe,” said Paul Niedermann, CEO of Prescient Audio.
Pre-orders of the Apollo Mini ThinDriver™ will be available in February 2014 for all Samsung Galaxy S4 users through Kickstarter, the largest online crowd funding platform designed to bring innovative projects around the world to market. For more information, please call 779-368-0382.
Using its ThinDriver™ technology, Prescient Audio recently introduced its TD-12, which cut the size of the traditional 12 inch subwoofer cabinet in half. The logical next step? Take the traditional sized cabinet, but give it twice the sound. The Dual Subwoofer utilizes a traditional square foot box, but installs a speaker on parallel sides, producing powerful sound in half the space, a revolutionary development for professional audio.
Subwoofer In-Wall Cabinet
If you appreciate sound quality, the Prescient Audio’s Subwoofer In-Wall Cabinet will be a non-negotiable addition to your home. Using Prescient’s ThinDriver™ technology, the In-Wall Cabinet takes the in-home theater experience to a whole new ThinTimate™ level. The 12 inch subwoofer can be installed between standard wall joists within the wall cavity, or even under furniture pieces, without the obtrusive, bulky cabinet and extra carpentry, all while maintaining the superior quality of sound Prescient Audio has made a standard.
“We are thrilled to be incorporating our award-winning technology into products that have the potential to impact the audio market in a revolutionary way,” says Niedermann. “This is just the beginning of what we’ll be able to do with the ThinDriver™ TD-12.”
